X-Ray scintillator screens can be used in a variety of different industries, such as in the postal service, medical research, and security applications. Analytical Components can provide high-quality x-ray scintillators, scintillator screens to all these industries, and work with you to make sure the equipment is correctly specified for the area of work.
X-Ray scintillators are incorporated into a number of x-ray imaging devices. They work by responding to x-rays which re-emit energy as visible photons. At Analytical Components, we can provide three types of scintillation screens; Gadox: Tb, Gadox: Pr, and Gadox: Eu.
Each of these types of screens are suitable for different uses. For example, Gadox: Tb and Gadox: Pr is for hard X-Rays, and Gadox: Eu is for extremely high-energy X-Rays. Another widespread use of Gadox: Tb is as a scintillator for X-Ray imaging. While it has a primary emission peak of 545nm; Gadox: Tb can emit wavelengths ranging from 382 to 622nm.
Our team at Analytical Components can work with you to discuss what X-Ray Scintillator Screen is best for you. We can also offer advice based on your area of research or industry.
