Phosphor Coating

A Phosphor Coating is a solid material which emits light through exposure to radiation. Analytical Components is experienced at depositing different phosphor types on various substrates, including but not limited to; FOPs (fibre-optic plates), glass and silicon. Additionally, our broad range of deposition methods, such as settle coating, brush coating and electrophoresis, enables us to coat components which are extremely heat sensitive. Our proprietary coating techniques also mean that we can adapt the way in which the phosphor is deposited to suit the specific properties of the substrate.

Analytical Components can provide our customers with a wide range of phosphor and scintillation components. Our prefered method of phosphor layering is using a brushing technique which we believe gives the best uniform layer structure and unparallelled brightness.

Phosphor Types

Analytical Components can provide the customer with the phosphor needs that they require, our most common types of phosphor are P22G, P43, & P47. We also have a wide range of different phosphors in stock. Please contact us and we will endeavour to meet your needs.

Other Options

All our customer needs are different and with that in mind we can supply you with an ITO underlay or an Al overlay to help the discharge of energy. Our unique eqiupment can allow us to deposit any number of thicknesses of Al so you if need more Al please contact us.
